A government grant may be awarded to businesses investing in Poland in the manufacturing or services sectors, including in particular advanced or modern services for business.

It offers non-repayable financial support from the Programme for Supporting Investment of Strategic Importance for the Polish Economy 2011-2030 and may provide an incentive for growth in Poland. Investors already present in Poland as well as those not yet operating on the Polish market can apply for the grant.

Investment projects meeting certain criteria (e.g. minimum investment capex, required headcount) may be subsidised in the form of:

  • an investment grant – of up to 10-20% of eligible expenditures,
  • an employment grant to create new jobs – of up to 12,000-20,000 zloty,
  • a training grant – awarded in addition to the above grants for each created job at up to 25-50% of eligible training costs.

The grant is awarded following the assessment of applications filed with relevant institutions prior to the start of the investment project, provided that the application receives a positive assessment and recommendation for award of the grant.
