Micro, small- and medium-sized enterprises as well as other eligible entities should submit statements to their power suppliers by 30 November 2022; otherwise they will not be able to pay the capped price on electricity under the government's Solidarity Shield legislative package.

Filing of a statement

Enterprises that want to take advantage of the maximum electricity prices are required to file a statement with the utility company. The statement should include, among other things:

– information that the criteria for being an eligible consumer have been met;
– other details, such as an estimate of how much of electricity will be consumed for purposes entitling the entity to benefit from the maximum price.

The statement should be submitted in writing (on paper or electronically) by 30 November 2022. If you submit it later, the maximum price will not apply until the month after the month of submission. The statement template is defined in an official regulation available in Journal of Laws (Dziennik Ustaw).
