The Fuel Platform is a new ICT system to handle the reporting on liquid fuels. It is run by the Governmental Strategic Reserves Agency and will become mandatory on 1 July 2023.

Liquid fuels – reporting obligations

Organisations which have a licence to produce, trade (including abroad), store and/or handle and transmit liquid fuels, as well as those entered in the Register of Importing Entities, are obliged to submit reports and information about their business to the President of the Energy Regulatory Office.

What is the Fuel Platform?

The Fuel Platform is a new dedicated ICT system through which businesses will submit information to the Energy Regulatory Office. It is meant to simplify the fulfilment of the reporting obligations.

Starting from 1 July 2023 fuel enterprises will have to fulfil all of their reporting and information obligations exclusively via the Fuel Platform administered by the Governmental Strategic Reserves Agency.

It still remains unclear when exactly the Fuel Platform will be made available to the enterprises. If the system goes live earlier, i.e. before 1 July 2023, they will be allowed to choose how to submit their reports and information. The Fuel Platform will become the only reporting channel on 1 July. Players on the fuel market may already start setting up their accounts in the system.

If you do not know how to create an account on the Fuel Platform, or you have questions about the reporting via the Platform after 1 July 2023, do not hesitate to contact us. We provide comprehensive support in reporting obligations towards the Governmental Strategic Reserves Agency.
