According to the European Green Deal, the European Union should actively fightnegative climate change.

The programme sets ambitious goals to help the European Union transform itself into a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy.

European Green Deal – goals

  • no net emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050,
  • economic growth decoupled from resource use,
  • no person and no place left behind.

In practice, this should mean targeting European and national funds towards programmes supporting investment projects that reduce environmental impact, reduce and reuse resources, including natural resources, and are linked to low-carbon energy and renewable energy sources.

It is advisable for businesses planning to make improvements in this area to take an interest in available loans granted on preferential terms with the option of their partial forgiveness and in planned grant-related calls for proposals supporting, for example, energy transformation.
