The newly updated schedule of calls for proposals under the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment (in Polish: FEnIKS) 2021–2027 programme is in force as of 26 January 2024.

Programme objective

With a budget exceeding 24 billion euro, the programme aims to improve the country's development by financing projects related to:

  • decarbonising the economy,
  • building an efficient transport system,
  • improving access to healthcare, and
  • strengthening the role of culture in social life.

Key deadlines

Here is the up-to-date schedule of the most important calls for proposals of interest to businesses:

1. Improvement of energy efficiency (including installation of RES) in large and medium-sized enterprises:

  • from 29/02/2024 to 13/05/2024; budget of 188 million zloty,

2. Construction or expansion of renewable energy sources for the production of electricity and/or heat from biogas, including energy storage facilities:

  • from 29/02/2024 to 13/05/2024; budget of 300 million zloty,

3.  Investments in efficient district heating infrastructure:

  • from 27/05/2024 to 29/07/2024; budget of 800 million zloty,
  • from 30/11/2024 to 29/03/2024; budget of 100 million zloty,

4. Construction, expansion and modernisation of smart gas distribution networks:

  • from 29/12/2023 to 15/03/2024; budget of 700 million zloty,

5. Development of waste recycling in enterprises:

  • from 31/10/2024 to 30/12/2024; budget of 100 million zloty,

6. Optimisation of raw materials and waste management in enterprises:

  • from 31/10/2024 to 30/12/2024; budget of 40 million zloty,

7. Development of infrastructure for intermodal transport:

  • from 04/11/2024 to 30/06/2025; budget of 1 million zloty.

The first-listed call may be particularly interesting to companies that plan upgrades and measures to reduce primary energy consumption. The costs of installation of renewable energy systems, e.g. photovoltaic systems or heat pumps, may be included in projects eligible for financial support.
