The schedule of calls for proposals under the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment (in Polish: FEnIKS) 2021–2027 programme was updated again on 29 November 2023.

Programme objective

The objective of the programme, which has a budget exceeding 24 billion euro, is to improve the country's development through financing of projects that reduce emissions of the economy, build efficient transport systems, improve access to healthcare and strengthen the role of culture in social life.

Deadlines

Here is the up-to-date schedule of the most important calls for proposals of interest to businesses:

  1. Improvement of energy efficiency (including installation of renewable energy plants) in large and medium-sized enterprises: from 31/01/2024 to 12/04/2024; budget of 188 million zloty,
  2. Investment in efficient heat infrastructure: from 27/05/2024 to 29/07/2024; budget of 800 million zloty,
  3. Construction or expansion of renewable energy systems for the production of electricity and/or heat from biogas together with energy storage facilities: from 31/01/2024 to 12/04/2024; budget of 300 million zloty,
  4. Construction, expansion and modernisation of smart gas distribution grids: from 29/12/2023 to 15/03/2024; budget of 300 million zloty,
  5. Construction and modernisation of smart gas power grid: from 02/10/2023 to 29/12/2023; budget of 700 million zloty,
  6. Development of infrastructure for intermodal transportation: from 28/06/2023 to 31/12/2024; budget of 1 billion zloty.

The first-listed call may be particularly interesting to companies that plan upgrades and measures to reduce primary energy consumption. The costs of installation of renewable energy systems, e.g. photovoltaic systems, heat pumps may be included in projects eligible for the financial support.

We encourage businesses that plan investment in the above areas to contact Rödl & Partner – we provide comprehensive support in state aid, including from the FEnIKS programme.
