Grants for hydrogen projects under the Hydrogenation of the Economy Programme

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management has announced a call for applications as part of the Hydrogenation of the Economy priority programme, which is to last from 3 June to 2 September 2024. 
 
The purpose of the programme is to support the development of technologies and investment projects for construction, implementation and marketing of innovative hydrogen-powered transport units.
 

Types of eligible projects

 
  • research and development projects regarding new or upgraded hydrogen-powered transport units, resulting in at least one-to-one scale demonstrator,
  • projects aiming to increase the production capacity for innovative hydrogen-powered transport units, e.g. by building a production line or a factory.
 

Aid intensity

 
The programme budget is 1.193 billion zloty, including:
 
  • non-repayable aid – 493 million zloty,
  • repayable aid – 700 million zloty.
 
The aid will be provided as:
 
  • grants (maximum 150 million zloty) or 
  • grants combined with loans (loan amount of up to 300 million zloty) 
 
The minimum amount of eligible project costs is 10 million zloty. 
 
The programme is addressed to enterprises operating in Poland through an establishment or a branch office, and university and education system units conducting scientific activities.
