Financial aid from the NRP for green industry

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (Polish abbreviation: NFOŚiGW) has launched a call for proposals of projects eligible for aid from a new programme named ‘Aid for the low-emission economy from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP)’.

The programme promotes the growth of the low-emission and zero-emission economy by funding industrial projects in two sectors: clean mobility and energy.

Types of eligible projects


1. Sustainable mobility projects such as:

  • construction of systems, technological lines / plants manufacturing technologically advanced end products, i.e. zero- and low-emission vehicles such as cars, utility vehicles, trucks, buses, locomotives, agricultural vehicles;
  • manufacturing of vehicle parts directly making vehicles low- or zero-emission; 
  • manufacturing of vehicle charging infrastructure and components in the value chain for manufacturing of end products for vehicle charging infrastructure, such as electric vehicle charging stations, charging sockets.

2. Value chain projects for low- and zero-emission energy sources (including hydrogen production) or storage of zero-emission energy (hydrogen) including among other things:

  • industrial systems, innovative solutions, technological lines, plants manufacturing end products for low and zero-emission energy sources or zero-emission storage;
  • manufacturing products in value chain for manufacturing of end products;
  • manufacturing components of end products for low and zero-emission energy sources or zero-emission storage.​

3. Systems for recycling waste produced in connection with the low- and zero-emission energy and electromobility undertakings in the course of the subsidised projects. 

Who is eligible? 


Incorporated companies (i.e. joint-stock and limited liability companies) classified as SMEs, large enterprises and medium capitalisation companies. 

Submission deadline 


From 26 May to 4 July 2025.

Budget and financial terms


  • total budget: 4.77 billion zloty;
  • aid form: equity stake for NFOŚiGW – direct or indirect acquisition or taking of shares in the increased share capital of the companies;
  • the Fund's share: up to 49% (exceptionally up to 85% – subject to certain management rules);
  • minimum equity stake: 50 million zloty.
