Therese Baginski is a graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice. She was awarded the title of statutory auditor in 2005. She has been with Rödl & Partner since 1992 when she started to work in the head office in Nuremberg. She took over the management of the Wroclaw office in 1997 and has run it ever since. Ms Baginski is also in charge of the audit departments in Gliwice, Cracow and Wroclaw, and of the accounting and the corporate & tax law department in Wroclaw. She became a partner in 2004.


Ms Baginski has many years of hands-on experience as a statutory auditor carrying out projects which have covered consulting and controlling in companies of all sizes and industries. She advises and audits subsidiaries of parent companies from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and many more. Ms Baginski has worked with over a hundred German-speaking companies in Poland. She speaks German and Polish.


After hours she likes to cook, read books and watch movies. She also enjoys hiking and horse riding.

Tomasz Balcerak graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and completed a postgraduate programme in enterprise accountancy and finance at the Warsaw School of Economics He holds the Minister of Finance licence to provide bookkeeping services. He became a qualified tax adviser in 2011.

He has been with Rödl & Partner since 2008, and was appointed Associate Partner in 2017. Six years later he made Partner. 

His responsibilities include accounting outsourcing, accounting supervision, tax returns and annual financial statements, as well as tax compliance. He has many years of experience in keeping books of account for foreign clients, especially from the real estate sector. He also specialises in accounting law, value added tax, and corporate income tax.

He co-authors press releases and book publications.

Dr. iur. Monika Behrens is an attorney at law with many years of consulting experience gained in Germany and Poland. She joined the team of the international law firm Rödl & Partner in 2013. She handled the introduction of DACH clients into the Polish market and assisted them with strategic and business consulting. She has a profound knowledge of German law that she successfully combines with the practical application of Polish law. She specialises in advice on investment projects and entry into the Polish market, as well as in contract negotiation. She was listed in 2021 among the 25 most prominent women lawyers in Poland, by "Forbes Women".


As a member of international teams of Rödl & Partner, Monika assists Polish companies in projects implemented in Germany. She also specialises in real estate law. Monika speaks Polish, German and English. She is interested in the application of new technologies in law, digital transformation in business, and “agile” management of law firms.


Monika graduated from Heidelberg University, where she obtained the degree of Doctor of Law (Dr.iur.) (2008), and from Jagiellonian University, where she also obtained the degree of Doctor of Law (2012). In 2012, she completed her legal training in Poland with honours and became a licensed attorney at law. At Rödl & Partner, she has headed the legal department in Warsaw since 2018 and since 2019 the M&A expert group. She was appointed as Associate Partner in 2016 and as Partner co-responsible for the LEGAL area in July 2020.
 
Monika enjoys spending her free time actively, taking part in extreme Runmaggedon and Spartan mud runs in Poland and abroad. She loves opera music by Jonas Kaufmann and Piotr Beczała.

Aneta Bolka

Aneta Bolka graduated from the Cracow University of Economics. She holds the Minister of Finance licence to provide bookkeeping services, as well as a Certificate of Lean Practitioner for services. She is a certified 5S coach.

She has been with Rödl & Partner since 2007. She was appointed Senior Associate in 2013 and Associate Partner in 2016. She has been in charge of the financial accounting team of Rödl & Partner Gliwice since 1 June 2014. She made Partner in 2023.

She is involved in implementations and adaptations of accounting software to applicable tax and accounting laws She handles day-to-day financial accounting and tax accounting. She has many years of experience in working with international clients from different industries, such as commerce, services, manufacturing. She is also experienced in mapping and streamlining accounting processes, supervising in-house accounting teams of medium-sized and large enterprises, and the electronic document workflow called RFlow. Her interests also include Lean Management and Project Management.

In her spare time, she cycles with her family and attends pop and rock concerts. She is interested in psychology.

Jarosław Hein

Jarosław Hein is a graduate of law at Jagiellonian University, an attorney at law and a tax adviser. He has authored many expert publications and articles in the national and foreign press. He has worked with Rödl & Partner since 2005; since 2008 he has acted as head of the legal and tax department in Rödl & Partner's office in Gliwice. He was appointed as Associate Partner in 2013 and as Partner in July 2020. His main areas of professional interest include: contract law, criminal law, criminal and fiscal law, Compliance, bankruptcy and restructuring law, M&A and AML.
 
Jarosław advises clients on business contracts and M&As, and conducts legal and tax due diligence audits. He represents clients in civil-law and criminal proceedings, and creditors in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings. He speaks Polish, German and English.
 
In his free time, Jarosław likes playing tennis, biking, and rock climbing. He also likes going to the movies, the theatre and playing bridge. 

Katarzyna Judkowiak

Katarzyna Judkowiak graduated from the Faculty of Economics at European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), where she studied international business economics (Internationale Betriebswirtschaftslehre). During her studies, she won the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) scholarship, as part of which she studied at the University of Montevideo (Uruguay). She joined Rödl & Partner in 2005. In 2007, she became a licensed tax adviser. In 2010, she was appointed as Associate Partner and as Partner in 2020. She heads the tax consulting department in Rödl & Partner's office in Warsaw.


Katarzyna specialises in advising Polish and foreign clients on VAT and CIT issues. Katarzyna implements projects concerning international tax law; this includes tax planning strategies involving investment activities in various jurisdictions. She participates in tax reviews, tax due diligence audits, the tax side of M&A projects, and in real property transactions. She represents clients before tax authorities, administrative courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union. She has wide experience in tax compliance issues. In 2021, she won the title of the best tax adviser in the Compliance category and in 2022 and 2023 of the recommended tax adviser in the Compliance category of Rzeczpospolita ranking. 

She was honourably mentioned as a Highly Regarded Practitioner and Women in Tax Leader in the General Corporate Tax category of ITR World Tax rankings 2023 and 2024.

She provides consulting services in Polish, German,  English and Spanish.


Katarzyna likes spending her free time actively with her family, biking, roller skating, horseback riding, skiing and snowboarding. She also enjoys playing board games and meeting with friends.

Renata Kabas-Komorniczak

Renata Kabas-Komorniczak is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, the British Centre for European and English Law Studies and the American School of Law (University of Florida). She has also completed doctoral studies at the Warsaw School of Economics.  She has gained professional experience working for international tax consulting firms. Ms Kabas-Komorniczak has been with Rödl & Partner since 2004 when she started as BPO manager in Warsaw. She is responsible for Rödl & Partner Warsaw and Gdansk since 2013. She became a Partner in 2014 and a Managing Partner in January 2020. She leads process streamlining projects and has a title of Lean Practitioner from Lean Enterprise Institute. She is responsible for Business Process Outsourcing in Poland and Germany, and implementation of Business Process Excellence across Rödl & Partner locations. She delivers workshops and webinars on lean, kaizen, agile and management 3.0. Organises shared service centres. Deals with compliance, including personal data protection. 


Honoured by The Europe Entrepreneur as the Most Dynamic Woman Entrepreneur from Poland Becoming the Role Model in 2024.​​

 

She has authored a number of books and publications on tax and social security law. She has also participated in drafting expert analyses and opinions on tax law for the lower chamber of Polish Parliament (Sejm). Ms Kabas-Komorniczak works as an Interim Finance Manager of manufacturing and IT companies and implements finance modules in ERP systems. Currently, Ms Kabas-Komorniczak appears as an expert on TVN. She speaks Polish, German and English.

 

In her spare time she plays bridge or piano, listens to jazz, reads crime novels and jogs. She has organised Rödl & Partner’s sports team named Frauen Power which successfully participates in mud runs such as Runmageddon, Sparta and Grid in Poland and abroad.

Magdalena Ludwiczak is a graduate of the Faculty of Administration at the University of Economics in Poznan. She was awarded the title of statutory auditor in 2003. She has been with Rödl & Partner since 1998. In 2008 Ms Ludwiczak was promoted to Associate Partner and took over the management of the audit department in Poznan. Two years later she was appointed a partner. In 2012 she took over the leadership of the entire audit department of Rödl & Partner Poland. She has been co-managing the Poznan office of Rödl & Partner since 2012. Ms Ludwiczak is in charge of comprehensive financial statement audits, training delivery and other attestation services performed by Rödl & Partner's auditors.


In more than ten years of work she carried out a number of financial statement audits. Ms Ludwiczak specialises in advising and auditing subsidiaries of foreign businesses, company transformation and financial due diligence projects. Thanks to her excellent German command, she has become the direct contact person for numerous German-speaking clients.
 
Magdalena Ludwiczak spends her spare time pursuing her passions of skiing and travelling.

Liliane Preusser studied law and economics at the Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. She gained her professional experience in one of the Big Four companies in Düsseldorf. She has been with Rödl & Partner for over 20 years and has been a partner since 2005.  Ms Preusser runs the offices in Cracow and Gliwice.  She is in charge of the finance and payroll outsourcing of Rödl & Partner Poland and manages more than 150 well-qualified specialists.  She has a title of Lean Practitioner Lean Enterprise Institute. Since 2015 in charge of Business Process Excellence Measure implementation in Rödl & Partner Gliwice, Cracow and Wroclaw.

 

She specialises in advising enterprises from German-speaking countries and carrying out payroll and finance accounting projects. She speaks Polish and German. In 2009 Outsourcing Magazine called Ms Preusser one of the 100 most influential people in the Polish outsourcing market. In addition to her professional activity she participates in cultural events, especially those that promote German culture in Poland as part of the town twinning of Nuremberg and Cracow.
 

Personally, Ms Preusser is interested in interior decoration and gardening, and spends her spare time reading books or skiing.


 

Marzena Rączkiewicz

Graduate of the University of Warsaw. She has also completed postgraduate studies in taxes and tax law at the Law and Administration Faculty of the University of Warsaw. She has worked with Rödl & Partner since 1999. She manages the payroll accounting team in our locations in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Cracow and Wrocław. She was appointed as Associate Partner in 2014 and as Partner in July 2020.
 
Marzena is an author of many publications on taxes and employment law and a lecturer at trade conferences. She is a licensed tax adviser (since February 2014) and Lean Practitioner certified by Lean Enterprise Institute (since 2017). She provides tax consulting services and handles the outsourcing of HR & payroll and financial accounting.
 
Marzena is responsible for the implementation and development of Rödl & Partner's Employee Portal. Her main areas of professional interest are personal income tax, social insurance, and labour law. She speaks Polish, German and English.
 
She loves animals. In her free time, she likes biking and travelling. 


Dominika Tyczka-Szyda

Dominika Tyczka-Szyda is a graduate of Economics and German Philology at the University of Wroclaw. She also completed a post-graduate programme in Tax Consultancy and German Business Translation at the WSB University in Wroclaw. She is a Ph.D. student at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, Faculty of Management, IT and Finance, Department of Public Enterprise Finance.

She has been with Rödl & Partner since 2010. She was appointed Senior Associate in 2014 and Associate Partner in 2017. She became a Partner in 2022. She has been in charge of Legal & Tax Consulting Department in Wroclaw and Rödl & Partner Poland Transfer Pricing Team since 2018.

She is a member of the Rödl & Partner’s international transfer pricing team and working group within the Transfer Pricing Forum as well as MDR Officer (expert in reportable arrangements). She specialises in transfer pricing and avoidance of double taxation of corporate groups. She speaks Polish, English and German.

She was honourably mentioned as a young talent in tax consultancy in Rzeczpospolita ranking in 2018 and was listed among the recommended transfer pricing advisers in Rzeczpospolita ranking in 2021. She ranked 3rd among TOP tax advisers in CIT category of Dziennik Gazeta Prawna in 2022.  She was honourably mentioned as a Highly Regarded Practitioner in 2023 and 2024 ITR World Tax ranking in the World TP category.
