NRP waiting to be unleashed

The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP), which is to use EU funds to finance major investment projects and reforms in Poland, is still waiting for green light.

Which areas will the NRP support?

According to unofficial reports, businesses may start to receive aid from the NRP as soon as 2022, potentially in the following areas:

SMEs from the agricultural and food processing sector;
investments in implementation of environmental technologies and innovations;
RES plants;
construction of offshore wind farms;
provision of broadband Internet access;
cybersecurity.

Who can benefit from the support?

The aid may be addressed especially to businesses which:

manufacture and plan to implement technologies that limit environmental impact;
plan to invest in renewable energy installations;
are about to take web security measures;
operate in the food and agricultural processing industry.
