Grants for innovations in the SME sector in Mazowieckie and Łódzkie Provinces

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in Mazowieckie and Łódzkie Provinces still have the chance in January to apply for financial support from EU funds unused in 2014-2020.

Currently, applications for funding are accepted as part of two regional competitions promoting innovation in SMEs. 
 

Marketing of new or improved products or services – Mazowieckie Province 


The competition is addressed to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. It is aimed at promoting investments implementing innovation in areas such as products, processes, and R&D work results in companies.

Types of eligible projects: 


  • expansion of companies, e.g. in connection with marketing new or improved products or services;
  • implementation of fundamental changes to the production process or changes in the manner of providing services;
  • use of R&D work results in business activity.

The maximum aid intensity may be 80% of eligible costs for a project and the value of support may be between  250 thousand and 900 thousand zloty. 

Applications are accepted until 23 January 2023  or until the funds allocated for this competition, i.e. over 29.6 million zloty, are exhausted, if this occurs earlier.
 

Increasing competitiveness of SMEs – Łódzkie Province 


The competition is addressed to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and is aimed at boosting innovation in this sector.

Types of eligible projects:


  • implementation of R&D work results; 
  • implementation of innovative products, product manufacturing or service provision processes, including eco-innovation.

Maximum aid intensity per project:


1. for expenses covered by regional investment aid:
  • up to 45% in the case of medium-sized enterprises
  • up to 55% in the case of micro and small enterprises

2. for expenses covered by de minimis aid – 85%.

The amount of aid for a project must be between 500 thousand and 2 million zloty, with the competition's budget amounting to 39.5 million zloty. The call for applications is open until 18 January 2023.
