Applications for non-repayable aid under the Government Programme "Aid for energy-intensive sectors related to sudden increases in natural gas and electricity prices in 2022" can be submitted until 22 February 2023.

The aid is granted for eligible costs incurred for the purchase of electricity or natural gas in the period from 1 February to 31 December 2022 – calculated using the formula set out in the Programme.

The Programme is open to enterprises operating in Poland that meet the following two conditions:

  • the cost of purchasing electricity and natural gas accounted for at least 3% of their production value in 2021 or 6% of their production value in the first half of 2022,
  • at least half of their revenue or production value came from activities classified under PKD codes or PRODCOM codes included in the list of sectors particularly vulnerable to the crisis.

The aid is available for enterprises dealing with, among others, mining, oil production, leather garments, paper, fertilisers, glass, ceramic products, pipes, wires, lead, zinc and tin, copper, etc.
